Some Forklore
Since the 4th century AD in the Eastern Roman Empire of Byzantium, the fork has been used as a primary tool for eating, serving and cooking. There is nothing special about a fork. After all, it is just a fork. Generally made up of a handle, a curved neck and 3 or 4 prongs. It is a simple and beautiful masterpiece of human invention. It is also the most overlooked yet most important tool we have ever created.
So what makes a fork so special?
This is where it gets interesting. A fork is special when it feels good in your hand, has the right weight, the right curves, the right length and the right style. But above all else, a fork must be made from quality materials that are going to last for a lifetime. Forks should not bend, break or rust. They should remain the beautiful masterpieces that they are for the lifetime of their usefulness. One should never settle for anything less.
